Fine Arts AP. Eeeeyup. One of the last pieces done for my AP concentration which was (big surprise...) animals and surrealism. So... yea. Peas, oranges, trees, animals, and planets... Go figure.
I... have a strange attachment to this piece for two reasons... One, I DO like the final product (save the giraffes and the bottom). Two... It is the first piece I've ever done spontaneously. Meaning... I had NO CLUE what I was going to draw as I did it I started with the orange and the world... That's it. Then it just... evolved. I did the pea pods next, then the African scene and so on. Very, VERY cool... I would never attempt to do another project without a plan in mind, but this one was fun. I just... lucked out.

I love this one =3 The planets in the pods are an awesome idea. Meep - the amount of details you put in the animals (ephalantssss!), the tree and the STARS o.o
Spontaneous pieces are always fun
That really is gorgeous. o____o I mean, wow. I LOVE the orange-Earth, and the starfield below all the veggies... wow. You also did an awesome job on the savannah and the animals, but my eyes keep getting drawn back to the veggies and stars.

I sing to life and to it's tragic beauty
To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me The rise and the fall; i've lived through it all
