This was my faaavorite work of Antoni Gaudi's: the Casa Batlló. The house was NUTS (Google it plzkthx) and there's a whole story behind it. The patron Saint of Barcelona is St. George, so when designing this house, Gaudi used the story of St. George and the dragon as his template. The roof of the house is supposed to be the back of the dragon, and that odd dome thing in the picture is the hilt of George's sword. The balconies in the front of the house are supposed to be the skulls and bones of the victims, and the broken mosaic that is all around the front are the dragons scales. It's crazy intricate, and the inside is the same way - meant to be like... the innards of the beastie. I could go on and on so Ill stop now.

Just enjoy the picture. Casa Batlló. Barcelona, Spain
